MOSCOW, 11 Jan. The Committee on rules and organization of work of the state Duma in 2016, will discuss the possibility of introducing new rules, according to which the speech of the member at the meeting can be interrupted if it says off topic.
That in the spring session will be discussed about these changes, the newspaper “Izvestia” said a member of the state Duma Committee on regulation, MP from the party “United Russia” Ivan Demchenko. It is reported that parliamentarians will be able to deny the right to participate in further discussions.
As recalled by the publication, similar amendments were recently made to the regulations of the Federation Council. Under the new rules, a member of the Federation Council Committee on rules and organization of parliamentary activity may interrupt the speaker and using the chamber’s voting to deprive him of the right to participate in further discussions.
“I think that after the holidays, during the spring session, we will be treated like amendments. Presumably, the working group will be created, which would do it, and then our Committee”, — the newspaper quoted Demchenko.
