KALUGA, January 11. /Corr. Alevtina Zubrilina/. The plant “PSMA Rus” in Kaluga, which produces the Peugeot, Citroen and Mitsubishi, the Assembly resumes Monday. Previously, between 14 and 31 December, the company was idle, informed the correspondent in a press-service of the company.
“In the period from 14 to 31 December at the plant “PSMA Rus” entered the idle state. A phased resumption of production will be implemented after the Christmas holidays, starting on 11 January. Disruption – adapting output to the needs of the market”, – said the press service.

Meanwhile, on February 1, 2016, the plant will switch to four-day work week to prevent layoffs of their employees. This is done to fulfil the annual plan and save jobs. “Session” is entered for six months, until 31 July 2016. The employees will be paid in proportion to time worked.

“PSMA Rus” – a joint venture of automaker Mitsubishi Motors and PSA Peugeot Citroen, working in Kaluga from 2010. The design capacity of the plant is 125 thousand cars a year.
