VLADIVOSTOK/KHABAROVSK, 14 Jan –. Ministry proposes changes in the state program “Socio-economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region”, according to which budgetary allocations to the programme for 2016 will be reduced by 40% from 77,4 to 46.6 billion rubles.

This information is published in the draft normative act, which is pending public comment on the portal regulation.gov.ru.

According to the text of the project, the budget allocation for a new program for 2016 will amount to 46,6 billion rubles. In the current edition of the program funding for 2016 is 77.4 billion.

“The cost of the Federal program is aligned with the budget. Previously the cost of the program for 2016 was not adjusted”, — said the representative of the Ministry.

According to him, the period of approval of the new edition of the state program – the first quarter of 2016. Projected need for funding the state program at the expense of means of the Federal budget in 2016 to 2025 is estimated at 508,14 billion.

“Above the budget allocation does not take into account funds that should be directed at the development of the Far East in the framework of the “industry” of state programs of the Russian Federation”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

According to the text of the new version of the program, the result of its implementation will be the increase in the level of investment activity in the Russian Far East and the Baikal region due to the use of all kinds of resources; the creation of the territory of the Far East 440,3 thousands of new jobs, including 57 thousand high-performance.

It is also expected the population growth in the Far East and Baikal region by 2025 and to 11.2 million people and the growth of transportation.
