Discussion of the 2016 budget to the State Duma was quite revealing. The Russian Parliament is almost fully used their powers and it was effective, said the speaker of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
MOSCOW, 14 Nov. The speaker of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin considers that the discussion of the 2016 budget passed in the state Duma quite well, and hoped that the voters in elections to the seventh convocation will vote for him and the head of the budget Committee Andrey Makarov, participating in the work on the budget.
Speaking during the “Gaidar forum”-2016 in Ranepa, Naryshkin reminded that last year a decision was made to postpone the election in September 2016 and the main argument was the fact that to adopt the budget by 2017 should the new Duma, so that the seventh convocation bear some political responsibility for the adopted budget.
“I believe that the discussion of the 2016 budget to the State Duma was quite revealing. The Russian Parliament is almost fully used their powers and it was pretty efficient,” Naryshkin said.
“I am confident that our voters will vote for us, for you, Vladimir Nikolaevich (Pligin, head of the constitutional Committee of the state Duma), your most humble servant,” said he, passing the word Makarov.
