Interaction with States – participants of CIS on various aspects tend to stabilize the overall situation both in the States and regions bordering on them, according to the comments of the Deputy Secretary of the Russian security Council.
MOSCOW, 14 Jan. One of the main directions of Moscow’s foreign policy is the strengthening of cooperation with the CIS, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, according to the comments of the Deputy Secretary of security Council of Russia Rashid Nurgaliyev to an updated national security Strategy, approved on the eve of the Russian President.
“In a new edition updated Strategy objectives in the area of cooperation of the Russian Federation with partners in the CSTO, the Eurasian economic Union. It is noted that one of the key directions of foreign policy is to develop relations of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with States-participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia”, — the document says.
Nurgaliyev also said that Russia will continue the integration processes on space of States — participants of CIS within the CIS Organization of the collective security Treaty, Eurasian economic community, Union state of Russia and Belarus.
“Of course, that the interaction with these States on various aspects of regional and international security has a stabilizing the overall situation both in the States and regions bordering on them,” — said Nurgaliyev, in comments.
