KALININGRAD, January 15. The U.S. assistant Secretary of state for Europe and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has arrived to Kaliningrad oblast from Lithuania. There will be her meeting with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov, said the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry in Kaliningrad region.
“Victoria Nuland is already in the Kaliningrad region. This afternoon she’s meeting with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. The meeting will be held in Kaliningrad”, – said the Agency interlocutor.
Consultations will be held behind closed doors at the residence of the President of Russia in city Pioneer on the Baltic sea, said the representative office of MFA.
Earlier “Kommersant” referring to own sources reported that the meeting with Nuland Surkov consultations are planned “around the implementation of the Minsk agreements on settling the conflict in Donbass”.
