Earlier it was reported that state Duma Deputy Alexander Khinshtein Tkachev asked to tell about the agribusiness of his relatives, whose presence may indicate the presence of a conflict of interest.
MOSCOW, 15 Jan. Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev said that he had been sent to the government of the Russian Federation with the request to consider at the special Commission the question of a possible conflict of his interests as the head of the Agency and interests of the agricultural business, which is owned by his family.
Earlier media reported that state Duma Deputy Alexander Khinshtein asked Tkachev to talk about the business of his relatives, in particular whether there was a conflict of interest with the Minister considering the fact that his relatives are engaged in agribusiness.
“To remove all doubts, I sent to the government notification on the issue of possible conflicts of interests in the manner prescribed by the 650-m by presidential decree, which entered into force on 22 December 2015. The matter will be considered by a special Commission which will give its opinion”, — said Tkachev in interview “to the Russian newspaper”.
