“From December 31 to January 10, the plant was on Christmas vacation from 11 to 17 January in winter corporate holiday”, – noted in the press center.
In the period of planned shutdown, the company carried out preventive maintenance of equipment.
One day later – January 19 – has to run the pipeline and resume production, the joint venture GM-AVTOVAZ, gone into winter corporate vacations from December 24.
As previously reported, sales of “AVTOVAZ” in 2015 amounted to 269 thousand cars LADA, which is 30% less than in 2014. According to the automaker, the share of AVTOVAZ on the market in 2015 amounted to approximately 17.9 per cent, which is 1.5% more than in 2014. Sales of GM-AVTOVAZ by the end of 2015 compared with 2014 fell by 24.5% to 34,726 thousand cars.
From February 15, 2016, AVTOVAZ will go on a four-day working week for a period of six months. Mode-shortened week will keep the company jobs.
