On consideration in the state Duma are about two thousand legislative initiatives. First we need to work on laws that will ensure implementation of the instructions of the President outlined in his address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, said the speaker of the state Duma.
MOSCOW, 18 Jan. Legislative portfolio of the state Duma (the document under consideration) has about two thousand initiatives, such a large number of documents suggests the possibility of duplication and populism, said the speaker of the lower chamber Sergey Naryshkin.
The first meeting of the spring session the state Duma will be held on Tuesday.
“In our legislative portfolio is a fairly large number of legislative initiatives, there are about two thousand. It speaks about possible duplication between those legislative initiatives, speaks about their quality and, in addition, on populism,” Naryshkin said to journalists.
“In this regard, I want to say, of course, most of those two thousand will be rejected, we will refund initiators. Consider and take action on the most important, in the main, we’ll work on those laws that will ensure the fulfillment of the President’s instructions set out by the President in his December address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation”, — he added.
