Shatalov will remain as an Advisor to the Ministry of Finance


Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Shatalov, who was relieved of his post due to retirement, will remain as an Advisor, according to the Ministry.

MOSCOW, 18 Jan. Sergei Shatalov, who on Monday the decree of the RF government was relieved of the post of the Deputy Minister of Finance in connection with the retirement, remains as an Advisor to the Ministry of Finance of Russia, reported the press service of the Ministry.

“Sergey Dmitrievich remains an Advisor to the Russian Finance Ministry. All the experience and knowledge, its great potential will work for the benefit of the tax system,” — said the press service.

The Ministry of Finance Shatalov was in charge of tax policy. He came into the Ministry in 1995 and worked in the office of Deputy Minister up to the present time with a two-year break, when he was the Director of the office of the taxation of the company “DTI and CC & Co”.

In January Shatalovo turned 66 years old.
