The WhatsApp messenger has cancelled a subscription fee

Moscow. January 18. The WhatsApp messenger has canceled annual subscription fee of 99 cents, according to a corporate blog of the company.

As told by founder Jan koum, the decision was taken because the subscription model is not proved as successful. Not all users of messenger have credit cards, and many are worried that next year they will have to abandon the use of WhatsApp.

The company also promised that WhatsApp will continue to not, despite the unsubscribe. Instead, WhatsApp will develop a number of add-ons that will allow you to use messenger for chatting with companies of interest to subscribers, such as banks about suspicious transactions or with the airlines about delayed flights.
