MOSCOW, 19 Jan. United Russia will be neither to persuade nor to dissuade a member of the legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Vitaly Milonov, a member of the party, to participate in parliamentary elections, primaries — open procedure, he must decide for himself, said Deputy Secretary of the party’s General Council, Deputy speaker of the state Duma Andrey Isaev.
Earlier in mass media appeared information that Milonov invited to participate in the elections to the state Duma, nevertheless, the MP of positive answer is not given.
“In this case is a private matter Milonov. I want to say that the primaries is an open thing, it have the right to attend all — party, non-partisan, people who believe that they can be useful to the country, imagine the positive interests of the party in the new State Duma. So let Vitaly Milonov takes to decide himself, no one put any pressure on him will not be, no one will be neither to persuade nor to dissuade,” said Isaev.
