Draws personal and group interests associated with the desired outcome of the upcoming elections should not interfere with the normal operation of Parliament, recalled on the opening of the spring session, the speaker of the state Duma.

MOSCOW, 19 Jan. Draws personal and group interests associated with the results of the upcoming elections in the state Duma, should not interfere with the proper working of Parliament, said the speaker of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin, opening the spring session.

Duma elections will be held at the end of September 2016.

“Our mandates are valid until the last day of the term of office of the sixth convocation of the State Duma, and draws personal and group interests associated with the desired outcome of the upcoming elections should not interfere with the normal operation of Parliament as a national institution, especially in such complex international conditions,” — said Naryshkin.
