MOSCOW, 20 Jan. Prime Minister of Thailand, General Prayuth Chan-OCHA handed over the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit the country on an official visit, said on Wednesday the Agency Xinhua citing the press service of the government of Thailand is Viracon of Socketpipe.
Thai Prime Minister conveyed the invitation during a meeting with the Russian Ambassador in Thailand Kirill Barsky on Tuesday.
The prayuth Chan-OCHA previously conveyed the invitation of the Russian President through the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during his visit to the country in April last year.
The Russian side has not yet commented on this information.
The Agency notes that this year marks 120 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two States. Sukontasap noted that the countries agreed to expand cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and in the military sphere.
