“Due to adverse weather conditions and to avoid risk to citizens of the Russian operation perform combat missions only in the provinces of Latakia and Deir ez-Zor”, he said.
The defense Ministry also noted that the Russian armed forces deployed in blocked terrorists from the city of Deir ez-Zor humanitarian cargo weighing 50 tons and continue the humanitarian operation in Syria.

In addition, in the vicinity of the settlement Mesia in the same province the su-34 struck blow to positions of the field artillery of fighters. “Objective control data confirmed the destruction of the three artillery guns,” – said Konashenkov.
In addition, according to him, in the area Belia (Deir ezzor), Russian aviation bombed in the firing position rocket artillery and warehouse of fuels and lubricants. “By means of objective control was recorded the destruction of two rocket launchers, as well as detonation is kept in the warehouse of fuel,” – said the representative of the defense Ministry.

Konashenkov also said that the Russian aircraft group in Syria in recent days have caused four strikes against terrorists, retreating under the blows of the government forces and the Patriotic opposition in the mountains of Latakia.
“In the area of the mountain massif of Jabal al-Arkadia (province of Latakia) during the day Russian warplanes launched four air strikes on scattered groups of militants, retreating under the onslaught of the government forces of Syria and detachments of the Patriotic opposition,” he said.
