MOSCOW, January 21. In Russia expect that working with Iran through the IAEA will not be politicized and all parties to do everything necessary for its speedy completion. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“A practical step in the implementation of the Joint comprehensive plan of action (SWPD) on settlement of the Iranian nuclear program (Iran nuclear issue) occurred on 16 January, she reminded. – Work in this area has passed to worker routine mode. “We hope that all participants will strictly abide by their commitments to this work and be effective,” – said the diplomat.
According to her, the main focus now switches to the IAEA, which “should confirm the absence in Iran of undeclared nuclear material and activities that will abolish remaining restrictions on cooperation with Iran in certain areas, particularly in military-technical and nuclear spheres prior to the expiration of the period established under UN security Council resolution 2231”. “This work by the IAEA has begun, as part of the implementation by Tehran of the protocols additional to the safeguards agreement, we expect that it will not be politicized and all parties were committed to its early conclusion,” she said.
