During the meeting, Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov and member of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah Azzam Ahmed discussed the need to enhance collective efforts of the international community to counter terrorism.
MOSCOW, 22 Jan. The capacity of collective efforts to combat terrorism, including with the group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia) was discussed at the meeting, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and member of the Central Committee of the Palestinian Fatah Azzam Ahmed, according to the Russian foreign Ministry.
“The General assessment was the need to increase collective efforts of the international community to counter ISIL and other terrorist groups,” — said in a statement the foreign Ministry.
The Ministry also noted that “the solution of this problem would contribute to the ongoing vigorous political and diplomatic steps aimed at settlement of crisis situations in the middle Eastern space.”
