MOSCOW, January 22. Russia strongly condemns the policy of the authorities of Moldova to limit media activities and the introduction of sanctions against journalists. This was stated by the Russian foreign Ministry.

On Friday in Chisinau airport without explanation was denied entry to Moldova correspondent MIA “Russia today” Timur Kursantov, recalled in depodesta. On January 21, was not allowed into the country of the correspondent of TV channel Lifenews Cyril ol’kova and cameraman REN TV Alexander Malyshev. The photographer, who on 21 January arrived in Chisinau, was also forced to return to Moscow on the next flight. The Russian citizen was denied entry because he works in an information Agency.

“Strongly condemn the policy of Moldovan authorities to limit media activities and the introduction of sanctions against journalists, said the Russian foreign Ministry. – Expect a proper evaluation of specialized organizations designed to respond to violations of international obligations in the sphere of mass media”.
