The outflow of Russian population from the Caucasus

Barinov noted that the outflow of Russian population from the Caucasus will lead to negative processes in the economy.

“Understanding the processes ongoing in the Caucasus have been, but the problems mentioned on the Forum forces us to coordinate, to correct them. For example, speaking of personnel policy, we heard about the Exodus of Russian-speaking population. This is a problem, which if not to do now, will lead to stagnation, lead to negative processes in the economy and in social policy”, – said Barinov.

According to him, this will have an impact on interethnic relations, “they will worsen in the republics, subjects of the Russian Federation”.

Speaking about the work of the forum of the popular front, the Minister noted that “hoped that criticism will be more.” “But apparently the Agency on Affairs of nationalities, as the youngest, apparently the activists regretted. What are the tough questions not asked, how would not criticized, without feedback it is difficult to make managerial decisions”, – added the head of FADN.

The agreement on “taboo”

The head of Federal Agency on Affairs of nationalities Ilya Barinov urges political parties to conclude an agreement on refusal from playing the national card in the electoral campaign for the elections to the state Duma, which will be held in September this year.

“We see great danger of interethnic and interfaith relations will be used in the elections as the issues that can bring this or that political force any dividends. I think it should be taboo,” said Barinov.

“We faced it in 90-e years and even in 2003, when the Duma elections some political parties actively this theme was used and tried on the nationalist wave to come to the state Duma. In any case, this is unacceptable. We will try to take on a coordinating role for all political forces that will compete for mandates in the State Duma signed inter-party agreement that this topic is in any case can not be subject of obtaining political dividends. To all this must be taboo”, he concluded.
