The document aims to simplify the conditions for the implementation of trips of citizens of two States. MOSCOW, 25 Jan. The agreement between Russia and Iran on simplification of conditions of mutual trips for tourists, businessmen and other certain categories of citizens of the two countries comes into force on 6 February, said Monday the Russian foreign Ministry.
“The sixth of February 2016 enters into force the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on simplification of conditions of mutual trips of separate categories of citizens of the two countries signed in Tehran on November 23, 2015”, — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.
The document is intended to facilitate “mutual” conditions for the implementation of trips of citizens of two States. “Provides for a facilitated procedure of obtaining Russian and Iranian visas for representatives of the business community, for persons participating in scientific, cultural and artistic activities, pupils and teachers, tourists and other categories of citizens. This agreement will further strengthen Russian-Iranian relations on all directions of mutual cooperation”, — said the Russian depodesta.
Earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanai said that Iran can go on unilateral abolition of visas for Russian tourists, and suggested to consider this idea of the cultural heritage, Handicrafts and tourism of Iran. In an interview with the Deputy head of the Organization Murtaza Rahmani, Movahed stated that his Department is ready to support this idea, but considers it a priority to pursue in this matter of reciprocal steps by Russia.
