MOSCOW, 25 Jan. The representative of “Transaero” has declared at session of arbitration court of Moscow, which the airline sued a statement in which demands to recognise illegal actions of the Federal air transport Agency to transfer their flights to the airlines of Aeroflot group, the correspondent from a court hall.
As explained by the representative of “Transaero” flights were transferred in October without competition. “The basis for this decision was called the compensation “Aeroflot” it costs the performance of the obligations of “Transaero”, — said the representative of “Transaero”.
The court on Monday is considering the claim of “Aeroflot” “Transaero” to recover about 2.9 billion rubles.
Earlier on Monday it became known that “Transaero” has applied to the Federal air transport Agency, which challenged Agency actions, but the essence of the claims was not known. The statement was reported to the Tribunal on 21 January, to the production of it is still pending. In a statement by third parties specified by the Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia, as well as airlines “Aeroflot” and “Russia” (enters into group “Aeroflot”).
On the same day, Transaero has submitted to arbitration of Moscow the claim to the Federal air transport Agency to recover about 595 million rubles, the cause of action is not disclosed.
After “Transaero airlines” discontinued flights, the Federal air transport Agency distributed its routes among other carriers, including entering into group “Aeroflot”. The head of “Aeroflot” Vitaly Savelyev on January 12, said that Aeroflot was not a monopolist after the departure “Transaero” — the group holds 42% of the Russian market of air transportation. Meanwhile, in December, in an interview, Savelyev said that the airline’s share in the aviation market of the Russian Federation after receiving routes “Transaero” about 50% or slightly higher.
