The process of party construction in the framework of the legislation is supported, but it is important not only political diversity, but also the ideology, which will follow the party, said the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
MOSCOW, 25 Jan. In the Kremlin support initiatives to create new parties within the law and develop political competition, informed the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier media reported that presidential Commissioner for entrepreneurs ‘ rights Boris Titov holds talks with right-wing parties to head the list in the September elections to the state Duma. As reported by RBC with reference to sources in the office of the Commissioner and the organisation “Business Russia”, about the successful completion of negotiations may be announced soon. In this case, Titov will lead an existing political force and make it the party of entrepreneurs.
“The process of party building, of course, that which occurs within the law – this should be encouraged, the party and the diversity and competition among political parties. This is something that is supported”, — Peskov said to journalists, commenting on the initiative of party building Titov.
He stressed that an important platform on which the party will conduct its work, the ideology will follow the party.
“But, in General, of course, the creation of new parties, development of political system of the country is very positively,” he added.
