CAIRO, January 26. Russia understands that the path to peace in Syria is through broad political dialogue of the legitimate government of the country with the moderate Syrian opposition, but also through decisive action to destroy the terrorists. This was stated by the Chairman of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
“We understand that the path to peace (in Syria) is, first, through the broad political process, a dialogue between the legitimate government of Syria with the moderate Syrian opposition on the one hand, and through decisive action to destroy the terrorists”, – Naryshkin said after a meeting with speaker of the house of representatives of Egypt Ali Abdel Alem.
“The leadership of Egypt and Russia have the same understanding of the problem,” said speaker of the state Duma.
