Mariani: the delegation of French parliamentarians once again visit the Crimea


In Day of Navy fleet of Russia in July, the delegation of French parliamentarians once again visit the Crimea, informs the member of the foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of France Thierry Mariani.

MOSCOW, 27 Jan. The delegation of French parliamentarians once again visit the Crimea in 2016 at the Day of the Navy in Russia, said the Agency Sputnik a member of the foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of France Thierry Mariani.

In July 2015 a group of 10 French MPs headed Mariani made the train to the Crimean Peninsula.

“I promised to return to Crimea, and I think we’ll come in the Day of the Navy in Russia, last Sunday in July (31st July – approx. ed.). And, of course, we’ll be back,” said Mariani.

Crimea became a Russian region after the March 2014 referendum in which the overwhelming majority of people, does not recognize the legitimacy of the February coup d’etat in Ukraine, voted for annexation by Russia. In Moscow underline that the referendum in Crimea complies with international law and the UN Charter.
