“Modern India is one of the leading States of the world, which is having an increasing influence on leading regional and global processes,” said Morgulov.
He noted that Moscow “is sincerely cherishes its traditional friendship with India and Indian people.”
“Mutually beneficial cooperation with new Delhi was and remains among the foremost priorities of Russian foreign policy,” the diplomat added.
According to him, coordination of the Russian Federation and India in the international arena, as bilateral political and economic cooperation are developing actively.
“Russian-Indian special and privileged strategic partnership makes a significant contribution to socio-economic development of our countries, as well as to the maintenance of security and stability in Asia and around the world. I am convinced that this has and will continue to be,” said a senior diplomat.
