Finland confirmed its desire to develop bilateral relations with Russia, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, stressing that Finland is Russia’s close neighbor and partner.
St. PETERSBURG, 29 Dec –. The Prime Ministers of Russia and Finland during the first personal meeting confirmed their mutual desire to develop bilateral relations. Finland is a close neighbor and partner of Russia, which determines the nature of relations between the two countries, said Deputy Chairman of RF government Dmitry Medvedev.
“We had our first meeting this personal, previously communicated by phone. Let me be clear: the conversation was good, we reaffirmed our mutual desire to develop bilateral relations between our countries,” Medvedev said at a press conference on Friday.
“Finland is our closest neighbor, partner, and this determines the nature of our relations”, — said the head of the government of the Russian Federation.
Medvedev also noted the importance of regularity dialogue. “It is very important for our relations to develop progressively,” he said.
