MOSCOW, 29 Jan. Russia at the forthcoming session of the OSCE parliamentary Assembly raise the issue of mutual withdrawal of sanctions with the deputies from the Russian Federation and the EU, said the Chairman of state Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov.
According to him, it is planned that the Chairman of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin will go to the OSCE PA and will be playing there.
“We plan to raise the issue of lifting the sanctions against parliamentarians of the Russian Federation and the EU,” Pushkov said.
He noted that these sanctions do nothing and only hinder parliamentary dialogue between Russia and the European Union. Pushkov believes that a significant portion of MPs from the OSCE PA will advocate the lifting of sanctions against parliamentarians.
