MOSCOW, 29 Jan. The government gave a negative opinion on the draft law the deputies of the LDPR faction on the abolition of “Golden parachutes” for members who have not passed in the seventh convocation of the state Duma, told journalists on Friday the Deputy head of the faction Yaroslav Nilov.
The bill was introduced in the lower house of Parliament in November last year in connection with the transfer of the Duma elections of 2016 from December to September. In connection with the date change of the current MPs who will not be re-elected, will remain until December 4, 2016, the inviolability of parliamentary procedure, payments and benefits. In the summer of 2015 fractions of LDPR and the Communist party during discussion of the postponement of the parliamentary elections have already proposed an amendment to abolish “Golden parachutes”, but it was rejected.
“Last night received the opinion on the draft law of the LDPR faction on the abolition of “Golden parachutes” for those MPs who do not pass the State Duma of the next convocation. Find unique, amazing rationale that the rule of “Golden parachutes” is justified, as it results from the fact that postponement of the date of regular elections of deputies of the State Duma. Consequently, the government does not support”, — said Nilov.
