REC: SKOLKOVO should look at the “Indian silicon valley”

In the near future the Russian export center will discuss with SKOLKOVO as to enhance work with Indian universities, said the Director of international projects of the Russian export of the center Mikhail Mamonov.

NEW DELHI, 30 Jan. Russian companies of the innovation center “SKOLKOVO” and venture funds should look to Indian Bangalore, says the Director of international projects of the Russian export of the center Mikhail Mamonov.

“I think companies from SKOLKOVO and our venture funds should look to the Bangalore — the Indian silicon valley. We have two strong schools of programmers, two strong schools of software production, at the level of ideas and ideas we have the potential, and is in principle an inexpensive product that can quickly learn and perform together,” he said on the sidelines of visiting sessions of the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF) in new Delhi.

According to him, Russia’s export hub will discuss with SKOLKOVO as to enhance work with Indian universities.

Bangalore, one of the largest cities in India, often called the “Indian silicon valley” because there are offices of many companies related to information technology.
