Supplies of meat will be implemented under the full supervision of Iran and subject to medical criteria defined by the Veterinary organization of Iran, said its Director Mehdi xalac.
MOSCOW, 31 Jan. Red meat production passed the Russian veterinary-sanitary inspection and compliance with the essential conditions of import of livestock products to Iran, said Sunday the Director of the Veterinary organization of Iran Mehdi xalac.
“After a number of meetings and relevant assessments, we said to the Russian side that the supply of meat will be in full control from the Iranian side and with respect to fundamental medical criteria defined by the Veterinary organization of Iran”, — quotes the words of the Xalac Agency ISNA.
According to him, there are no medical impediments to the supply of Russian meat in Iran. The decision is only for buyers.
Xalac also said that Iran has not conducted any research in respect of made in Russia chicken, as the country does not require its import.
Earlier it was reported that Iran in the next two weeks intends to approve the supply of poultry products from Russia. The press service of the agricultural company Miratorg also said that the Bryansk meat processing plant will begin shipping beef in the next few months. “Miratorg” is the first Russian enterprises received permission to export of meat products to Iran.
