MOSCOW, 1 Feb. Russian parliamentarians are interested in the scientific study of the problems associated with international law, including the situation with the sanctions, said on Monday speaker of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
“We are now interested in the scientific study of very many of the problems associated with state sovereignty, international law, take, for example, the problem of the so — called sanctions,” he said during the meeting with young scientists of Moscow state law University named after O. E. Kutafin.
“Why do I say “so called”? Because actually it is not a legal action group of Western countries against our country, and because these actions constitute human rights violations for many, many positions. We would be interested in a more in-depth scientific study of this problem in order to have a solid scientific arguments in discussions at various international platforms with our colleagues and with parliamentarians, and not only with parliamentarians,” explained Naryshkin.
