MOSCOW, 1 Feb. Inflation in Russia in annual terms in January could fall to single digits below 10%, said the head of Ministry of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev.
“Inflation is not growing, moreover, the rate of price growth slowed. By the end of the month, I think we will be able to see an unambiguous indicator below 10%. It’s still high value, but it’s not 15% and not what it was last spring, so we are moving in the right direction,” – he told reporters.
Earlier Ulyukayev predicted that annual inflation in January by about 10%. The CBR gave a similar assessment.
