Putin will discuss the problems of business with the asset of the club of leaders


The main topic will be the current state of the Russian economy in the aspect of small and medium enterprises. The President stressed that the state support of businessmen.

MOSCOW, 3 Feb –. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday will meet with the Club leaders, including Russian entrepreneurs, to discuss the situation in the economy from the point of view of small and medium business, the press service of the Kremlin.

“The main topic will be the current state of the Russian economy in respect of problems and issues from the small and medium business”, — stated in the message.

The club, which is informal Union of small and medium business owners, was established in 2012, the initiative for its creation was supported by Putin holding then a post of the Prime Minister. Regional network of club covers more than 40 Russian regions. Members of the club leaders meet regularly with the heads of ministries and departments.

The situation in the Russian economy deteriorated due to external economic conditions, primarily related to the decline in oil prices, lack of access to foreign capital markets as the result of imposed against Russia sanctions.

Putin on the forum “Support of Russia” said that Russian businesses, including small, persevered in difficult economic conditions. He noted that the authorities of the Russian Federation will continue to build support mechanisms for the development of small and medium businesses. According to him, time constraints — economic, budget and not become a barrier for the inflow into this sector as many educated, modern-minded and enterprising people.

The government is currently developing a new action plan in the economy. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday that the new plan contains not only solutions to the crisis, but also structural measures to create a reserve for economic development in the medium term.

Earlier, first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said that the plan will contain measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in 2016.
