SEVASTOPOL, February 4. /Corr. Janina Vaskovsky/. The Governor of Sevastopol Sergey meniailo compared the decision of Evroparlamenta, which links against Russia to return Crimea to Ukraine, “the exchange of beads for gold”.

On Thursday the European Parliament voted for a resolution that cancels antirossiysky sanctions linked to the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine. MEPs recalled that the EU considers the reunification of the Crimea with Russia illegal. At the same time they welcomed the visit to Crimea of the special representative of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe and are now waiting for his assessment of the situation and conclusions.
