MOSCOW, 4 February. Russia and the U.S. are working on options for delivery of humanitarian aid to blockaded Syrian city. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“It (the conversation of the foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry – ed.) was about the need for urgent steps from the side of the Syrian government and the opposition to ensure UN-sponsored humanitarian access is blocked by government forces and armed opposition groups parts of the country, she said. In this context, foreign Minister of the Russian Federation and the United States agreed on the harmonization of possible coordinated actions on delivery of compomise to the relevant parts of the SAR by air with use of means of military transport aviation”.
“How it is done, just have to decide,’ she said. – Now we are talking about the study of such possibilities”.
