MOSCOW, February 7. The increasing tension in Syria comes from the reckless activities of NATO. This statement was made Sunday the official representative of Russian defense Ministry major General Igor Konashenkov, commenting on the statement of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that “operation of air and space forces in Syria is preventing a peaceful settlement of the conflict and leads to increased tension in the region.”
