Sberbank has announced that as a creditor CJSC “Aerofirst” that controls the duty free shops of the oldest Russian network-Moscow Duty Free, intends to address in arbitration court with the statement for acknowledgement of the debtor insolvent. A message posted in the Unified Federal register of information on facts of activity of legal persons.
In the files of arbitration cases information about Sberbank’s lawsuit to “Aerofirst” not yet available.
Earlier the claim about collecting with “Aerofirst” more than 1 billion rubles was filed by another creditor of the company, VTB Bank. The first hearing on this lawsuit is scheduled for March 14, 2016.
In mid-January 2016, it has been reported that some shops duty free, located in terminal D of Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, is closed due to transition in management companies Moscow Duty Free company Duty Free Imperial, controlled by Arkady Rotenberg.
“This is a common commercial practice. These stores will be redesigned, reconstructed and opened again in early February”, — noted in the press service of Sheremetyevo.
The group of companies Moscow Duty Free is one of Russia’s largest chains of duty free stores, the first store which was opened in 1988 at Sheremetyevo airport. Currently, the Moscow Duty Free shops are in terminal F of Sheremetyevo airport and Domodedovo airport.
