MOSCOW, February 17. The Central Bank intends to expand the number of employees of banks which may be included in the black list. The regulator is preparing the relevant amendments to the law “On banks and banking activity”. About this informed the Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Mikhail Sukhov on air of TV channel “Russia 24”.

Now the base of the Central Bank consists of “a relatively small circle of people, including managers, shareholders, other individuals, for which depositors and creditors suffered financial losses”, – said the Chairman of the Central Bank.

“We would like this list expanded, and prepare appropriate amendments to the legislation,” he said.

“I think that the list of those persons must get auditors who confirmed inaccurate reporting by banks and those carried out in the Bank’s internal control, as well as by virtue of his office was responsible for the quality of information on the activities of the Bank”, – explained Sukhov.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Central Bank made a lifetime suspension of bankers, included in the black list. In addition, he said the regulator plans to increase the duration of their stay in the base with 5 to 10 years.

Currently in the black list of the Central Bank 4 thousand 742 Bank employee that violated the business reputation requirements. Within a few years they will not be able to hold senior positions in banks, as in the composition of the Board of Directors and the management Board. Also they do not have the opportunity to participate in the equity of the Bank buying more than 10% share.
