In addition, according to him, cooperation between Russia and NATO was “almost paralyzed” after the decision of the Alliance to “freeze any practical cooperation” with Moscow.
“The quality of relations between Russia and NATO largely depends on the state of pan-European security”, – he said, speaking before a vast audience of influential London analytical centre of defence – Royal United armed forces Institute (RUSI). “The absence of dialogue between Moscow and the Alliance now is not only normal, but also distracting (from the really serious problems)”, – said the permanent representative.
