“I must say honestly that the salaries of the managers of RusHydro, Russian citizens pay in the form of tariffs. In this regard, “RusHydro” should be as, shall we say, modest, which is, in General, in my opinion, is not observed. We actually talked to management, talked about the fact that all levels of pay should be reduced in comparison with last year, but now I have been informed that things are not quite right,” said Trutnev in an interview with NTV television.
He promised to raise the issue at the Board of Directors of the company. “We will try to look at carefully. And I say again, here in the far East very high tariffs. It is necessary to reduce costs, including costs in the form of the salaries of the heads, nothing wrong with that,” said Trutnev.
Payments to members of the management Board of RusHydro in 2015 decreased by 18% compared to the 2014 year and amounted to 723,7 million rubles, reported in the company’s report for the fourth quarter. As explained in the “RusHydro”, this amount includes the remuneration by results of work for 2014 of the Board members who worked in 2014.
In 2014 the management Board of RusHydro consisted of 14 people, in the optimization of administrative structure by November 2014 the number fell to five people. In 2015, from six to five people. From January 2016 the management Board consists of four people. The income of the head of “RusGidro” Nikolay Shulginov while working in the company in 2015 (began work from 15 September) totalled 3.89 million rubles, for 2016 as at 18 February – 1,017 million rubles.
RusHydro is the largest generating company of Russia. Installed capacity of power plants included in the “RusHydro”, is 38.6 GW, including electric power “RAO Energy system of East” and Boguchanskaya HPP.
