MOSCOW, February 26. “NOVATEK” in 2015, reduced sales of natural gas by 7.1% compared with the previous year – to 62,465 billion cubic meters. Liquid hydrocarbon sales has increased by 81.8% and reached 12,888 million tonnes, the company said.

“In 2015, were sold at 62.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas compared to 67.2 billion cubic metres in 2014. Lower sales volume in 2015, mainly due to warmer weather in 2015 compared with 2014 interim navyborah for technical reasons the contractual volume of one of our large customers. As at the end of 2015 the total amount of gas reflected in the composition of stocks of finished products, amounted to 1.3 billion cubic meters”, – stated in the message.
With regard to liquid hydrocarbons, the growth in their implementation in 2015, the company associates with increased production at fields in Arcticgaz, beginning production in Termokarstovoye field, and with the growth of oil production in subsidiaries.
NOVATEK during the reporting year, increased natural gas production including share in joint ventures (JV) by 9.3%, to 67.2 billion cubic meters. Liquids production including share in JV increased by 50.6 per cent and reached 6,036 million tons.
