Putin FSB Board will summarize the work of the office and put tasks for the future


MOSCOW, February 26. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin will arrive on Friday at the headquarters of the Federal security service on Lubyanka square, to participate in the Board meeting. This was reported by his press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“The President will participate in the annual FSB Board and will hold several other meetings,” – said a Kremlin spokesman, speaking about the schedule of the President.

As expected, the President will evaluate the Department last year and put tasks for the future.

“The President will participate in the Collegium of the Federal security service, during which will be announced the main results of the operational activities of the FSB in 2015 and identifies priorities for 2016,” – said the press service of the Kremlin.

Putin regularly participates in the meetings of the boards of various agencies, first of all, power. As a rule, they are held in the beginning of the year to evaluate the results of the past period and to define new goals.

The last time the President of the Russian Federation participated in the meeting of the Board of the FSB on 26 March 2015.

In 1998-1999 Putin headed the FSB.
