MOSCOW, February 27. Adviser to the Syrian President for information and political Affairs, Busana Shaaban at the meeting with the special envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov reiterated the commitment of Damascus to the ceasefire and readiness to ensure humanitarian access to all parts of Syria. This was reported in the Russian foreign Ministry.

“During the meeting there was a substantive discussion of the situation in and around Syria in the light of the tasks of the Russian-American agreement on the cessation of hostilities in Syria from February 27, which were approved by an unanimous resolution of 2268 UN Security Council”, – is informed in depodesta.
“Busana Shaaban again reiterated the commitment of the Syrian government, the ceasefire in accordance with the joint statement of Russia and the USA, as well as the willingness and desire of the Syrian authorities to provide humanitarian access to all parts of Syria”, – stressed in the Ministry.
“Both sides noted that the practical implementation of existing agreements on ceasefire and the continuation of a decisive fight against terrorist groups will contribute to the promotion of political settlement of the Syrian track in accordance with resolution 2254 of the UN security Council and decisions of the International support group in Syria,” – said the foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.
