MOSCOW, February 29. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the law, which provides for the extension until 1 March 2017 period of free privatization of residential premises in state and municipal housing Fund, citizens occupied under social rent.

The amendments were adopted by the state Duma on 24 February and approved by the Federation Council on 26 February.
The bill
According to the law, privatisation of premises – free transfer to the property of Russian citizens on a voluntary basis, they occupy residential premises in state and municipal housing.
