The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated Mikhail Gorbachev with 85-year anniversary, noting the timeliness and relevance of the professional qualities of the President of the International public Fund socially-economic and political studies. Mikhail Gorbachev was born in 1931, Russian politician and public figure, the first and last President of the USSR (1990-1991), since 1992 – President of the International Foundation for socio-economic and political studies (the Gorbachev Foundation), Nobel peace prize laureate (1990).
