MOSCOW, March 9. The ceasefire in Syria over the past day has been broken seven times, it is reported in the information Bulletin of the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria.
“During the day, the cessation of hostilities was violated seven times (Aleppo – three; Latakia, HOMS, Idlib, Hama – one)”, – stated in the message published on the website of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the militants groups “Liwa Sultan Murad” and “the Firka 16” thrice fired from mortars quarter of Sheikh Maksoud in Aleppo, specified in the document.
Russian and Syrian aircraft attacked the forces of the opposition, announced the cessation of hostilities and reported their location in the Russian or the American center for reconciliation, is added in the Bulletin.

Tuesday, March 8, the centre also reported seven cases of ceasefire violations in Syria. Then the most of incidents were also recorded in the province of Aleppo.
The number of armed groups that joined the ceasefire in Syria over the past day has reached 42, according to the Gazette.
“During the day reached an agreement on reconciliation with the commanders of the five units operating in the vicinity of the settlement of Mohadji (province of Deraa), employing up to 450 people. Thus, the total number of IAF (illegal armed groups – edit.) declared its commitment to the implementation and acceptance of the terms of cessation of hostilities, reached 42”, – stated in the document published on the website of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation.
The total number of settlements, the heads of which have reached agreements on reconciliation, has not changed and remains at 42, is added to the Bulletin.
“Six held talks with the leaders of the clergy, representatives of the settlements and administrations of settlements and districts in the provinces of Damascus, Aleppo and Quneitra,” – said in the message.
In total for the last day the center received 44 appeals, 34 of them were related to requests for humanitarian assistance and information about the attacks.
The truce in Syria
The ceasefire in Syria is in effect from 27 February. The truce does not apply to the terrorist organization “dzhebhat EN-nusra”, “Islamic state” (both organizations are banned in Russia) and other formation deemed terrorist by the UN Security Council.
According to the Russian military, the truce is generally followed, but only in recent days were 15 registered violations of the ceasefire.
