MOSCOW, March 10. A series of regional forums for rural development, announced the Public chamber of the Russian Federation, starts in Vologda. 10-11 March at the forum’s “Village – the soul of Russia” will discuss the innovative approach to the system development of villages and will consider good practice in this area, reported in a press-service of Public chamber of the Russian Federation “Perspectiva”.

“On the grounds of forum “Village – the soul of Russia” will be presented the most successful practices in rural development, including the integration of youth in rural life, preservation of culture, quality of life and so on. The forum program covers tours in the Vologda museums and centers of art and meetings with the leadership of the region and representatives of the Federal government. Communication will take place through discussions, workshops, round tables, educational programs”, – said the press service.
In the framework of the forum it is planned to hold four roundtables, which will discuss the development of infrastructure and agriculture in villages, formation of local branding and the development and support of civil activity in the villages and support rural youth.
The idea of the forum “Village – the soul of Russia” offered the winner of the award of the Public chamber of “I am a citizen”, a civic activist Valentina Pogozheva from the Vologda region. Therefore, the first regional forum will be held in Vologda.
All-Russian forum of development of rural territories “Village – the soul of Russia” initiated by the Public chamber in response to the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
