MOSCOW, March 13. Damascus finds acceptable action in Syria, countries that coordinate their efforts with Russia. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in interview to TV channel REN TV.
“There is no such document, but the Syrian government was told that if someone from outside players coordinating their actions with Russia, which legitimate work in Syria, it will be considered acceptable,” he said.

“When we established contact with the American coalition in Washington and agreed to cooperate to avoid unforeseen and unintended incidents in the air, and then more recently on the coordination of issues related to the deepening and strengthening of the ceasefire and delivery of humanitarian assistance, the Syrian government has adopted such a formula and thinks that if this is done with the participation of Russia, the Syrian sovereignty is not violated,” – said Lavrov.

Sergei Lavrov called contradictory coming from the US signals regarding the coordination with the Russian efforts to combat “Islamic state” (ISIS is a terrorist group banned in Russia) in Syria.
