Prikhodko: removal of anti-Russian sanctions depends on the will of European partners


ATHENS, March 12. /Corr. Denis Kabanov/. The issue of lifting anti-Russian sanctions depends on the political will and maturity of its European partners. About it in interview to the Greek journalists said the Deputy Chairman of RF government – chief of government staff Sergei Prikhodko.

“We were the initiators of the sanctions, said Prikhodko. – Our reaction to these sanctions has created problems, including Greece. But we were not the initiators, repeat”.

“Practice shows that the effect of any sanctions ephemeral, – said the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation. – Or rather, for their initiators, in most cases, is negative. “But we are realistic and understand that even under the sanctions need to continue to work with those partners that are showing interest, said Deputy Prime Minister. – I think, according to the government of the Russian Federation, Greece is among the States that are ready to deepen and expand cooperation with Russia”.
