The head of Rospechat: advertising revenues of the media in the past year fell by almost a third


MOSCOW, March 14. Advertising revenues the media has fallen in 2015 by almost a third. The HRC announced on Monday, the head of the Federal Agency for press and mass communications Mikhail Seslavinsky.

“We see falling advertising revenues from print media. Well, for 2015 fell by 29% compared to the previous year,” he said. The Seslavinsky noted that “where there is a strong, serious, strong advertising market, no immediate funding-subsidies (the media) does not exist.”

Earlier in the meeting of the HRC, Deputy Minister of Telecom and mass communications Alexey Volin said on the liberalization of the advertising market, and, in particular, permits the advertisement of alcohol, drugs, and the liberation of the media from liability for advertising of biologically active additives (dietary Supplements).
